[Letter], June 19, 1878, Lebanon Springs, N.Y., [to] D.C. Brainard [New Lebanon, N.Y.].

Concerns a court case in Tennessee between Jno. W. Morton and A. B. Morton, who, Bull concludes, were related. A.B. sold Shaker seed to J.W., and the seeds failed to produce a crop. Brainard is assured by Bull, presumably his legal advisor, that he could not be held liable for any damages because of this failure of seeds that he had originally marketed.
